Celebrating heritage!

Miss S was one of our more interesting clients! She wanted to  shoot boudoir and shoot something that would celebrate her heritage. She is half german and half japanese. Her father lives in Japan and she does not get to see him as much as she would like. So we  came up with the idea of shooting her Geisha style. Some of the more sexier ones are  for her eyes only but this one she loves and wants everyone to see! So with her we shot the best of both worlds, sexy boudoir and a traditional portrait. We always advice our boudoir clients to bring a nice dress so we can get an image that their special someone can frame and place on a desk at work or to give to family. Because we know you'll want to show off a little! So do we!

Things I love!

I love colorful photos! This is Taryen we worked on her modeling portfolio for her and we wanted to do something different and colorful. We used our nightstand with a photo of my niece in the back ground just for fun. I love this photo, though I may be bias because my niece Amna is in the background!

Jenna, wow!

Yesterday we shot Jenna! It was an amazing experiance because I have never shot someone that was able to transform so much in front of the camera! The best of her really came out. When Jenna got here she had never done her hair in hot rollers, did not wear a lot of make-up except for goth make-up and really did not carry herself with a lot of confidence. Well, when she left she had confidence becouse her photos turned out so beautiful!  We did her make-up and put hot rollars in her hair, giving her a true Hollywood glam look. She really got into projecting herself to the camera and magic happened! It was a great experience for us to see her inner Hollywood movie star com out!

We had so much fun with Miss V.! More photos to come but I had to share this one right away! On daily basis us women play so many roles. Mother, wife, domestic engineers and a lot of us still go to work and play the role of business partner, sales rep., beauty advisor, banker, the list goes on...

Imagine  the fun you get to have to be all those things in front of a camera looking your hottest! That is what I think of when I see this image of Miss V. She is part Sexy Goddess and part mommy telling her little one  "inside voice". It really makes me realize how many things we are really capable of!

It's all about the mood....

Ladies, you can be sexy and not show any skin at all! Case in point Stephanie, this is one of my favoraite photos of her! She is relaxed engaging and beautiful. All the elements of a perfect photo. However please note, no skin showing. Keep this in mind, if you are a little shy about a photo shoot sometimes its all about the mood!

Boudoir party? This is how I feel about that!

I have been working on a package here at Babydoll Pinups that will entail a Boudoir Party! Yes! Kind of like a Tupperware party except funner and and a chance to express the glamorous sexy goddess that you are.What better way to do it than with your girlfriends that you love and encouarage you the whole way? Christmas in September?

Yes, now is the best time to start planning your boudoir  photo shoot to present as a gift to him. (or just do it for you)  He will love a gift of YOU more than anything you could find for him.
Starting practicing poses and pin point "your look". I  know you will feel silly at first but then you will get into it and the ideas will come flooding in! You will get addicted to all the different thing you are able to come up with!

 One thing to remember is no matter what pose or idea you have for yourself we can make it work! And with the right lighting  you will come out as the sexy bombshell you actually are!

Sneek Peak at Mary's Vixen set!

Wow! Mary wanted a special anniversary gift for her husband. They are celebrating ten years together (awesome)! She decided to go with our "vixens" package and her photos turned out amazing! This only the beginning of her set but we just could not wait to show them off!

This is your alter ego calling, let me out!

What happens when your alter ego comes calling? Do you answer? Do you allow her to express herself? Hopefully you let her out. She may be sexy or she may just be very sweet. and demure. OR she mae be a vixen out for revenge.That one sounds fun! Sometimes we do not take the time to really let our sexy side out but it is so well worth it! Jen allowed herself to be sexy for her photo shoot we told her just trust us. Her results exceeded her expectation and her fiancee's expectations whom did not even know this was coming!

Beauty and Beauty........

Amanda has always been beautiful. But motherhood has really made her stand out even more. Maile her daughter is 7 months old and definitely gets the genes that makes a women stand out even if she is only 7 months old! We have photographed Amanda before under different circumstances now she has a baby and we are still able to get the shot!

These photos are from a photo shoot with Taryen, a model working on her portfolio so a lot of effort went into getting these shots just right. The photos are amazing but one image made us crazy. This photo is gorgeous at first glance I love it ! But…….

If you look at the upper right corner near her head you will see fly away hair standing out. Now you or I would still think what a beautiful photo! However to an editor or photographer or to the client this photo is worthless because of that hair! These are all the small things that go into getting the right shot, attention to detail. Every hair has to be in its place! The good part of this story is a little thing called cropping. Thankfully we were able to crop the photo making it actually even better I think. Here is the finished product.
